However, you can also prepare an effective exfoliating scrub using lemon, baking soda and sugar at home. Just mix 1 teaspoon of fine sugar, 2 tablespoon lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon of baking sodain a bowl. Use it as a scrub on your face to remove bacteria and dust trapped in the pores and also to lighten any dark spots. After this scrub you can apply a face-pack made of 1 teaspoon of gram flour, half a teaspoon of tomato pulp and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. Leave on until dry and then wash off with water to get a clean and clear complexion.
• For moisturizing dry skin: although lemon juice alone is preferred for oily or normal skin types, but women with a dry skin can also make use of this wonderful juice. All you got to do is mix olive oil and honey with an equal quantity of lemon juice. Leave on the mixture on your dry skin for about 15-20 minutes and then wash with warm water. You will get a clean, clear and moisturized skin.
